“Overcoming abuse doesn’t just happen. It takes positive steps every day. Let today be the day you start to move forward.”
-Assunta Harris, A Sheep Amongst Wolves

The DOVE Center is available 24/7 to offer safe shelter and provide advocacy for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Domestic violence and sexual assault are crimes. We understand that confusion comes along with being a victim of a crime, and we are here to offer support and validation for your feelings and experience. Together we’ll address your concerns and conquer your fears about what happened. Please know that the assault or abuse is not your fault; it is the sole responsibility of your assailant or abuser. We invite you to meet with our advocates to begin a program of healing and empowerment. Our services are offered in both English and Spanish and are free and confidential.

DOVE Center has two facilities located in St. George. One is a safe, confidential shelter for women and children who are fleeing an unsafe living environment, aka the DOVE House. The other is an office space where the Executive Director, Case Manager, Counselor, and others conduct the daily business of DOVE Center, aka the Outreach Center. This is a public space where we can receive donations, conduct trainings, and take care of other business without compromising the safety of shelter residents. The two facilities allow us to provide short and long term services to increase the opportunities for those affected by domestic and sexual violence to experience peace, hope, empowerment, and self-sufficiency.
