Ways to Give

Our community is the heartbeat of DOVE. Approximately 200 individuals – adults and children – take refuge at DOVE House each year. The number of survivors accessing transitional housing and non-shelter support including counseling, increased by more than 25% the last two years. Over 800 individuals received assistance in FY 2018. Our staff and volunteers are dedicated to providing quality programs and assistance but we cannot do all that we need to without the financial, in-kind, and volunteer assistance of our community members.

DOVE Financial Donation

If you’d like to support the mission of DOVE Center and the victims of crime that we serve, please make a financial contribution today. Many of our grant funds are restricted and prevent us from providing emergency or unexpected expenses our clients encounter on a daily basis. Your financial gift helps provide safe shelter for families escaping violence, a 24-hour Helpline, outreach services, and community training and education.

DOVE In-Kind Donation

We are always in need of a variety of hard goods to support our clients in and out of shelter. PLEASE NOTE: We no longer accept donations of used items, including clothing. We have partnered with Catholic Thrift Store, Hospital Thrift Store, and Deseret Industries so that when you donate used clothing or other items on behalf of DOVE Center at one of these thrift stores, they reciprocate by providing shopping vouchers for our clients to shop for free. Please support the community partners of DOVE Center in this fashion. We are so thankful to them and to YOU!

DOVE Service Projects

Eagle Scout Projects: DOVE Center loves partnering with youth in hopes of spreading awareness with teens. Please download our Eagle Scout Project List.

Reclaim the Beauty Jewelry Donations: Like gems sitting in a box, collecting dust and losing essence, victims of domestic violence and sexual assault may feel they too have lost their shine. Their beauty has become overshadowed by abuse. We want to polish and renew that jewelry, just as we want to help victims reclaim their beauty and feel empowered and shine once again. Donate new or previously loved jewelry to DOVE Center or participate as a jewelry volunteer to help refurbish jewelry. The reclaimed gems are sold at outreach events and Annie’s Vintage Garden, with all proceeds going to fund victim’s services.
