Get Help – Our Services
“Overcoming abuse doesn’t just happen. It takes positive steps every day. Let today be the day you start to move forward.”
–Assunta Harris, A Sheep Amongst Wolves
DOVE Center is available 24/7 to offer safe shelter and provide advocacy for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Domestic violence and sexual assault are crimes. We understand that confusion comes along with being a victim of a crime, and we are here to offer support and validation for your feelings and experience. Together we’ll address your concerns and conquer your fears about what happened. Please know that the assault or abuse is not your fault; it is the sole responsibility of your assailant or abuser. We invite you to meet with our advocates to begin a program of healing and empowerment. Our services are offered in both English and Spanish and are free and confidential.
The Lethality Assessment Program—Maryland Model (LAP) was created by the Maryland Network Against Domestic Violence (MNADV) in 2005 to assess risk aimed to prevent domestic violence homicide and serious injuries.
