About

DOVE Center is the only area agency providing safe-shelter, crisis intervention, and prevention for clients who have been victimized by violence in their home – whether by a family member or cohabitant – that also serves victims of rape, sexual assault, sex trafficking and stalking. DOVE Center is also the only victim services agency in the area available 24-hours a day to answer questions and concerns about domestic violence and sexual assault, and address the perplexity that comes with being a victim of crime. Additionally, DOVE Center is the only area agency working directly with law enforcement and St. George Regional Hospital to provide advocacy for sexual assault/rape victims 24-hours a day. DOVE Center services are free of charge and completely confidential.

DOVE Center provides services in various locations throughout the community, including DOVE’s three main facilities in Washington County: DOVE House is a safe, confidential shelter for individuals who are fleeing an unsafe living environment; Erin’s House allows us to provide transitional housing; and our outreach office allows us to provide advocacy, protective order assistance and trauma-recovery counseling services. These facilities allow us to provide a more complete, longer-term continuum of care that will increase the likelihood of safety, independence, and healing for our clients affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence.
