Cindy Richardson, President

Cindy Richardson is a 10-year resident of the St. George area and is currently serving her second term as President of the DOVE Center Board of Trustees. Cindy holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and an MBA and has devoted over 30 years to the health care industry. Her portfolio includes many years working in Women's and Children's Services and Behavioral Health, making Cindy an incredibly valuable resource for DOVE Center staff.

Teri Koenig, Vice President

Teri Koenig is an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker and author of eight non-fiction books for the young reader market. As an educator for over 40 years, she began her career as an elementary school teacher and community speaker. Teri earned her Master of Science degree in Gerontology from USC in 2004 and moved to St. George. She now serves as gerontologist and health coach at Dixie Regional's LiVe Well Center.

Mary Lloyd Barth, Treasurer

Mary Lloyd Barth is a retired nonprofit director, private sector human resource director, program administrator, and grant writer. Mary is adept in leadership, management, curriculum development, and technical writing. Her passion for empowering women is grounded in the positive impact equity brings to all communities. Mary has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and is certified Train the Trainer, Project Management, Dispute Resolution, and Assertive Communication.

Sharon Hoiekvam, Secretary

Sharon Hoiekvam is, and always has been, a community advocate for women's health, legal rights, and socio-economic opportunities. She has lived in St. George for four years, with roots in Omaha NE, Kansas City MO, and Washington state. Sharon is retired...twice; first from AT&T and later from TDAmeritrade. She is committed to spreading the word about how everyone benefits when resources are devoted to making women and families safe from domestic violence. She is the proud mother of three grown children.

Leslie Bowler

Leslie Bowler, just like four generations of her family before her, cherishes St. George and all that southern Utah has to offer. She and her second husband Kevin have blended eight children and five grandchildren into a family that loves weekends, gardening, and 4-wheeling. Leslie enjoys hiking in the Grand Canyon, Havasupai, and Zion. She has been employed with Cache Valley Bank (formerly The Village Bank) for nine years and uses her experience there to support DOVE's fundraising efforts.

Lori Burgess

Lori Burgess has been a licensed real estate agent for over 30 years. She is also co-owner of Quality Development and Quality Excavation, two local real estate development companies. Lori has always believed that family is the most important thing and feels strongly about working with DOVE Center to help strengthen families in need. It is rewarding, she has said, to see the progress DOVE clients have made. Lori is the mother of two and has five grandchildren.

Shonie Christensen

Shonie Christensen is the owner of Allstate-The Shonie Insurance Group in St. George and is a strong believer in giving back to her community. Shonie is a past president of the St. George Exchange Club and has served on boards for Carbon County Children's Justice Center, Boys and Girls Club, and PTA. She is married to her high school sweetheart Dallas; they have two children and one grandchild. Shonie believes that everyone deserves to live free from domestic violence and financial abuse. One of her mottos: "Empowerment is always in style!"

Deb Townsend

Deb Townsend holds a Masters Degree in Sports Study and Educational Leadership. During her 33-year career as a high school teacher in Palatine IL, Deb taught physical education, health education, and served as a Certified Athletic Trainer. She chaired her school's Health Department for 12 years and was instrumental in bringing classroom CPR training for all students. Deb served on the board for the Northwest Center Against Sexual Assault before she and her husband relocated to St. George in the spring of 2014.

Ruth Weniger

Ruth Weniger, President of Powerful Business Strategies, LLC, provides business development consulting, strategic planning, and executive coaching to businesses and individuals across diverse business sectors. Her focus is on helping high performance clients achieve business excellence while maintaining their personal balance and perspective. She has also been an officer for organizations serving music education and early childhood education. Ruth is committed to helping DOVE Center grow in its ability to serve its clients and the community. Ruth and her husband moved to St. George in 2012.

Tom Bayles

Tom Bayles is a partner in the law firm JensenBayles, llp. He moved his family to St. George in 1997. An active member of the community, Tom is a member of The Foundation of Dixie Regional Medical Center Professional Advisory Council, served as President of the Southern Utah Estate Planning Council, St. George Exchange Club, and The Southern Utah Bar Association. He is a past member of the Washington County School District Foundation. He feels strongly about the mission of the Dove Center, and is grateful there is a resource like this for families in need.

Natalie Ashby

Natalie Ashby holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing, and a Masters of Business Administration in Health Management. She has worked in healthcare for over 22 years. She is currently Director of Neurosciences for Intermountain Health. Natalie is married with three children and has been a resident of St. George for over 10 years. Her interest in outdoor activities has moved her to hike the rim of the Grand Canyon twice and pushed her to complete seven marathons. Her passion resides in supporting young women and helping them realize their full potential.

Tammie Richeson

Tammie Richeson serves on the DOVE Center Board as a matter of great personal interest. She is a survivor of domestic abuse, and therefore understands first-hand how important DOVE’s work is. She is committed to supporting others who have experienced this horror, so that they, too, can believe good things are possible. Tammie is the mother of four, grandmother of one, and has been a real estate agent for 10 years. She started her own firm in 2012. She previously worked as a high limit dealer in casinos in Las Vegas. Her hobbies include biking, camping and spending time with her family.

Amori Shaw

Amori Shaw is a proud St. George native -- her roots going back many generations -- and graduate of Dixie State University. She runs a successful real estate team at Red Rock Real Estate. As a “local” and a contributor to the growth of the community, she has realized her true passion is helping and being of service to others. Amori believes that DOVE Center is an integral part of our community that has allowed many families, women and men to obtain freedom/peace from domestic violence.
